Pitch A: A regular teenage boy thinks his life is normal, little does he know someone is stalking him, what will he do? 

Discuss Pitch A: This is our top pick since it is a different idea compared to others. We have yet to hear anyone have an idea about a stalker film. It can also be shot in different settings. Another bonus of doing this pitch can be the different camera angles that can be used, such as focusing in and out between the person being stalked and the stalker. Overall, this topic caught our eye, and it was easier to brainstorm multiple ideas for the film itself.

Pitch B: 2 youngsters battle to become the greatest soccer player, who comes out on top?

Discuss Pitch B: Although this pitch was good for the final task, it just was not as interesting as the first pitch. We are aiming to have a different film, and we already know multiple people doing sports films. As well, most of us did a sports-related task during our time in media studies and we would not want the same for our final task. Also, there would be one or two ideal settings that we could use, only if they are not taken up by other people already such as the soccer field. We feel as if doing the pitch for soccer will give us an increased amount of unnecessary obstacles.

Our Final Decision: Due to us wanting to have a more interesting idea for our film, we have decided to go with pitch a, "A regular teenage boy thinks his life is normal, little does he know someone is stalking him, what will he do?

In the past, my group and I have always used Cap Cut as our main source of editing. When it came time to start editing, we knew we were going to use Cap Cut . There had been a problem when we first started, however, as I've mentioned in past blogs . The US was going to ban Cap Cut , and they did. Use of Cap Cut in America was banned for around a week which frightened my group. Luckily, we still had not begun editing, so this was not a stopping point. My group and I just chose to use Cap Cut because it is the easiest and most diverse software there is for free . For one, the software's import and export features made it super easy to put in the clips and audio we needed. For the clips, all we had to do was drag the files from our File Explorer into the app. The clips were then put into CapCuts “library ”, And we're made easy to browse through.   Creative Critical Reflection   How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?   T he product which I used, Powerade, followed most of the traditional conventions of its past commercials, but also made sure to challenge some of them. The norm for the conventions for a sports drink commercial like P owerade would be fast jump cuts, inspirational music, quick paced movements, and sweating. While my group and I’s commercial does follow most  of the conventions, it also challenges some and goes against the grain of normal conventions of a sports drink commercial .
