Story Board Music Video

Scene 1: Scene opens with man inside of the car, showing him driving while the interlude of the song plays, introducing our main character.

Scene 2: Camera cuts to show inside of a party/club, where we meet our the characters soon to be partner. It shows a girl dancing while the song lyrics begin to be introduced. The man can be seen in this party approaching the girl.

Scene 3: The boy and girl are now talking with each other, following the lyrics of the song and playing out the story. The camera is revolving around them as they are talking to each other. 

Scene 4: The camera then cuts to show just the eyes of the girl, as if it is being seen from the boys perspective. In the girls eyes is a reflection of the boy and girl together, signifying what the boy sees for their future.

Scene 5: Camera swings up, and a blur effect is added, signaling that the boy is now having thoughts/day dreaming. The sequence of the boy daydreaming him and the girl going on a picnic date on the beach

Scene 6: Camera transitions to show the boy and girl on another date, this time they are walking through the city talking to each other, admiring and laughing

Scene 7: Camera transitions again to show the boy and girl on another date, now they are eating ice cream and in each others arms

Scene 8: Camera transitions again to show the boy and girl on another date, now they are at the movies together

Scene 9: Camera cuts and has a blur effect to show we are leaving the boy's thoughts, now we are leaving the party and in the boys car, he has his arm around her as the music plays

Scene 10:  Shows the boy and girl on the beach together, as they are talking while the sun begins to set

Scene 11: Shows the boy and girl getting into the car to leave the beach, then cuts to show outside of the car driving in a neighborhood.

Scene 12: Camera cuts to the car being parked, showing the guy opening the door for the girl and walking her to the door, they stare at each other for a brief moment, and then the boy leans in and the camera cuts.

In the past, my group and I have always used Cap Cut as our main source of editing. When it came time to start editing, we knew we were going to use Cap Cut . There had been a problem when we first started, however, as I've mentioned in past blogs . The US was going to ban Cap Cut , and they did. Use of Cap Cut in America was banned for around a week which frightened my group. Luckily, we still had not begun editing, so this was not a stopping point. My group and I just chose to use Cap Cut because it is the easiest and most diverse software there is for free . For one, the software's import and export features made it super easy to put in the clips and audio we needed. For the clips, all we had to do was drag the files from our File Explorer into the app. The clips were then put into CapCuts “library ”, And we're made easy to browse through. CCR Commercial

  Creative Critical Reflection   How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?   T he product which I used, Powerade, followed most of the traditional conventions of its past commercials, but also made sure to challenge some of them. The norm for the conventions for a sports drink commercial like P owerade would be fast jump cuts, inspirational music, quick paced movements, and sweating. While my group and I’s commercial does follow most  of the conventions, it also challenges some and goes against the grain of normal conventions of a sports drink commercial . The commercial did not include inspirational music, instead it used pop music from popular artist Bon Jovi ; it also did not put emphasis on the color of the Powerade drink like other commerc ials do .   My commercial did use jump cuts, an d sweating, and showed athletic movements, which did follow th e norm for the conventions , making...
